C.O.I. has established an outreach base in Galveston to facilitate disaster relief from hurricane Ike.  Teams start the day early and generally return in the early afternoon to escape the heat of the day.  Residents of Galveston still need to express their loss and anguish which is still present in their everyday lives. Your group will be an invaluable part of their recovery by helping to clear debris, gut homes, paint, landscape and spread the love of Jesus Christ to those you contact.

Galveston still needs your help to recover. The residents are deeply moved by the simple act of C.O.I. teams joining them to help rebuild their lives. The real impact, on a mission trip providing disaster relief, is the joyful feeling God will place in your heart that begins with the warmth and appreciation of the people you help.
